The Trial

Laura visited the makeup salon in Bicton, Perth, for her bridal makeup trial. She expressed a desire for a soft glam look that would enhance her dark features, so Claudia chose a warm brown colour palette to create a beautiful, smokey eye. Soft glam makeup offers a polished yet understated appearance, perfect for a wedding day. The focus was on Laura’s eyes, with soft matte shades to keep the overall look balanced and elegant. A light brown was applied to the lid, while a darker shadow was added to the crease to create depth and dimension.

The Wedding Day

When it came time for the wedding, Claudia was ready to bring Laura’s vision to life. Given that they had done the trial a few months prior, Claudia anticipated that Laura might want to tweak her look, which is completely normal. To her delight, Laura chose to keep everything the same, with the exception of wanting a fuller coverage base. On the wedding day, they got ready at the luxurious COMO Treasury in Perth, and the entire makeup process went smoothly. Laura’s bridesmaids were an absolute joy to work with, adding to the positive energy of the day. Claudia was honoured to be part of Laura’s special day and grateful for the opportunity to bring her bridal beauty vision to life.
